Heliocentris Academia International GmbH dates back to 1995, when the first educational products for teaching hydrogen and fuel cells were created.

In February 2017, Heliocentris Academia became of the Horizon Fuel Cell Europe Group, joining their worldwide network of partners specialized in education and technical training solutions.
